Payment + promos
How can I pay for your rad goods?
We accept Shop Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal + credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club + Discover.
Which currency do you use?
All prices listed are in Canadian dollars. If you make a purchase outside of Canada, your credit card will charge you the converted amount in your own currency at time of purchase. Be aware your credit card company may charge additional foreign exchange fees.
Do you charge tax?
Well, technically the government does but yeah, we collect on their behalf. For Canadian orders, we charge the GST/HST rate of the province the order is shipping to. For BC orders, PST is also charged.
How do I use a discount code?
Discount codes can be entered in the cart. Simply type or paste your code in the box labeled "discount code", then click "Apply". More than one discount code may be entered but not all of them will combine. Discount codes cannot be combined with volume discounts.

Ordering
How do pre-orders work?
A pre-order item means you get to buy it before it's available. You can add it to you cart + check out as usual. The only difference is, your entire order won't be shipped until every pre-order item in your order is available. When your order is ready to ship, we will send you a notification.
Unfortunately, we can't split orders with pre-order items in it. If you want a pre-order item to ship on its own, it will need to be a separate order.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Sorry! Once an order is placed, it is unable to be canceled or modified.
What's your refund + exchange policy?
We want our goods to be top notch so we check it over + package it with care. All sales are final unless what we sent was in error or damaged. If so, please contact us within 7 days of receiving so we can make arrangements for correction, a replacement or issue a refund.
We will not accept or refund orders if you refuse to pay applicable duties and tariffs.
DO I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS + DUTIES ON MY ORDER?
Customs + duties are applied according to where the order is going.
As of August 29, 2025, all TRACKED SHIPPING orders going to the US will be subject to customs clearance.
If your order is mailed via untracked letter mail, then you don't need to worry about this.
However, if your order is mailed via tracked shipping, this means US Customs + Border Protection will now have to process it + have it "clear customs".
What this means for you:
For the first while, your order may be delayed in arriving as US Customs + the shipping companies will face an exponential increase in workload.
Our goods are CUSMA/USMCA compliant so they should be EXEMPT from tariffs. However, US Customs reserves the right to levy whatever fees (aside from tariffs) they deem fit at the time of crossing + we have no control or insight into that. You are ultimately responsible for these charges.
If there are any extra charges to pay (whether it be tariffs, border fees or shipping company fees), the shipping company will contact you + require payment before they can deliver your order. We will not accept or refund orders if you refuse to pay the extra charges.
All this really sucks + we're doing our best to keep you updated on a very fluid + unclear situation. We appreciate your patience + understanding!
How should I report a missing item/damaged or defective item from my order?
Please report any damaged or missing items to contact@illknowitwheniseeit.com within 7 days of receiving so we can make arrangements for correction, a replacement or issue a refund.
Trouble placing an order?
Sorry to hear you're having issues! Try refreshing your web browser + clearing your cache + cookies.
If this doesn’t work, try checking out on a different browser or using a different device.
Make sure your postal/zip code on your credit card details matches the post/zip code in your billing address. For security reasons, these need to match in order to process the transaction + submit the order.
Why haven't I had any order updates?
We send out a confirmation email after you place your order + then another once it ships. Please check your spam or junk folder. On occasion we do have issues sending emails to Hotmail, Yahoo + AOL accounts. Feel free to reach out if you haven't heard from us.

Where are you goods made?
All our sweet + slightly snarky paper goodsâ„¢ are designed + made in Vancouver or in collaboration with other small businesses across Canada. We also purchase all our supplies from Canadian companies.
Are your goods sold in stores?
Yes, our goods are carried in shops across Canada + the US but they only carry a small selection of our entire line. It's hard for us to say what they might have at any given moment so if there's something specific you want, it's best to buy it from us directly online.
